About Us
Founded in 2008, KESSA is a scholarly association that draws its membership from across the globe.
KESSA is a U.S. Federal tax-exempt nonprofit association registered in the State of Ohio, USA.
The Exceutive Committee
The Executive Committe is headed by the founding and current President, Dr. Kefa Otiso.
Dr. Otiso is an Associate Professor at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green OH.
Dr. Maurice Amutabi, Vice-President & Editor of KESSA publications, is based at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi, Kenya.
Dr. Francis Koti, KESSA Secretary, is an Associate Professor at the University of North Alabama, Florence AL.
Dr. Charles G. Manyara, KESSA Treasurer and Web-Manager, is an Associate Professor in the School of Environmental and Physical Sciences at Radford University, RadfordVA.
The Governing Council
The governing council is comprised of the Executive and four council members:
Council member Mr. Samuel Tombe is an independent Software Engineer based in Bellevue, Washington State.
Council member Dr. Jerono Rotich is an Associate Professor at North Carolina A&T State University at Greensboro, NC.
Council member Dr. Christine Mathenge, Associate Professor at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
